Black Eye Merry-go-round
Why
do all the big kids pick on me?
Everyday I get punched
And
I never have lunch
Because they steal it from me
And
why do they hit so hard?
I
never did anything to them
I
just sat there
Watching the big kids take the playground
Waiting for my turn on the black eye merry-go-round
At
least I’m not the only one
That other boy got shoved into a wall
They stole that girl’s ball
The
big kids don’t even play fair
They take our footballs
And
hold them high over our heads
Out
of our reach
And
sometimes they just chuck ‘em
Way
over the playground fence
It’s not fair
Why
can they pick on us like that?
I
can’t wait ‘till I’m bigger like them
I
will make the little kids cry
And
I will laugh
As
they take their turns
On
the black eye merry-go-round
